Subj:   Officers - Assignment of.

Ref:    (a) Roster of Officeers, Fleet Air Wing FOUR, of 1 August1943.

1.      It is noted that in Scouting Squadron FORTY-NINE's roster,
Lieutenant (jg) ROEBUCK, Lieutenant (jg) FLETCHER, Lieutenant (jg) HALL
and Lieutenant (jg) KEENAN are listed as on temporary duty from Scouting
Squadron FIFTY-SIX.

2.      The above listed officers have been attached to Scouting Squadron
FORTY-NINE since their arrival in Alaska on August 1942.  They were on
temporary duty in this squadron until February 1943 on which date they
were permanently transferred to Scouting Squadron FORTY-NINE by order of
Commander, Fleet Air, WEST COAST.

3.      It is requested that the status of the above listed officers be
corrected so that proper rotation of pilots can be accomplished.

4.      Lieutenant (jg) H. R. Hall was permanently detached from Scouting 
Squadron FORTY-NINE by Bureau of Naval Personnel orders on 3 August 1943.
