       1.        In compliance with the provisions of reference (a), enclosures
(A), (B) and (C) are submitted herewith.

       2.        A signed copy of NavPers 310 for the period 15 March 1943 to
15 August 1943 has been forwarded direct to Commander C. HAWKINS, USN, USS NASSAU,
c/o Fleet Post Office, San Francisco, California.

       3.        A summary of my billets and Commanding Officers during the period
stated in reference (a) follows.  A complete file of my orders is not available
at this time, so of necessity, some dates (indicated by an asterisk) are approx-
imations.

       1 June 1942.
            Reported to VS-56 at NAS, Alameda.  Lieut. W. H. ROGERS, USNR,
            Commanding.

       15 August 1942.
            Reported to VS-49, NAS, Kodiak, for detached duty.  Lieut. Comdr.
            C. HAWKINS, USN, Commanding.

     * 15 March 1943.
            Ordered to permanent duty with VS-49. Lieut. Comdr. C. HAWKINS, USN,
            Commanding.

     * 15 August 1943.
            Lieut. Comdr. C. HAWKINS, USN, releived by Lieut. Rexford OSTROM,
            USN, as Commanding Officer of VS-49.

     * 1 October 1943.
            Detached from VS-49 and ordered to report to ComTHIRTEEN for
            reassignment.
