This is one of the Larsen girls, Maggy.
She was a very good friend.
I often wondered what ever happened to the girls with the tidal wave and bad storms that hit Kodiak.
It was such a pleasure when on duty (SP) in town to stop in at their hamburger stand (little resturant).
We were very good friends.
When I left Kodiak the girls gave me a scarf with their names printed on it.
After 60+ years I still have the scarf in my dresser drawer.
Maggy was one-hundred percent lady.
This picture shows their home where the three lived.
Out the road past their home was the Club Montmartre.
They had a brother who was in the army and served his duty in the USA.
You see, back in '44, Alaska was an outpost, not even considered a state.
