1970-1980

There was Panhandle X cable carrier to Buxton. Hatteras to Elizabeth City toll circuits were cross-connected at Buxton. There was no microwave tower here until Ocracoke was tied in here sometime after 1980. The tower at Buxton was removed in the same time frame. (Same tower, moved?)
