I, Bob Siptrott, had the privilege to work at the Air Force Satellite
Control Facility (AFSCF), on Kodiak Island, Alaska, from 1963 to 1972.
Kodiak Tracking Station (KTS) was one of the four original Remote
Tracking Stations (RTS) in the AFSCF. Those four were the front line
intelligence gathering facilities (Spy in the Sky) during the cold war of
the late 50's and 60's. KTS was brought into operations to support the
Corona program (once classified). Later on, other space programs were
supported there. The above is the front cover of my book. See it's progress
at these web sites:

I designed and manufactured these patches to honor this piece of history
and the crews that were part of these significant events.
